Louisiana recently finished 48th in a survey of state child health care systems, according to a report from the Commonwealth Fund.
The report cited Iowa as the state with the best child health care. Oklahoma was ranked last.
Mississippi and Florida were the other two states ranked lower than Louisiana.
The survey, which ranked states based on factors such as access, quality and costs, included all 50 states and Washington D.C.
