The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the murder of University student Aaron Arnold.
The Sheriff’s office arrested Tracy Young, 28, on counts of first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.
The Sheriff’s Office is still looking for another man they believe drove the car involved in the robbery.
Detectives are looking for Sanchez Brumfield, 21, a male investigators say is likely between the Baton Rouge and Lafayette area with his girlfriend in a newer model black Hyundai with a temporary license plate.
The Sheriff’s Office has a warrant for Brumfield’s arrest on counts of first degree murder, attempted murder, attempted first degree murder and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.
According to a Sheriff’s Office press release, Young was positively identified by witnesses in a photo line-up as the man who robbed Arnold and another person, then shot both victims.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 389-500.
