Carla Berry, LSU women’s basketball assistant coach, leaked the information on Pokey Chatman’s alleged relations with a former player to University officials, ESPN.com reported late Sunday night.
Berry, assistant coach since 1999, had not commented on the situation as of 11:50 p.m. Sunday.
Chatman resigned her post as head coach immediately Thursday after announcing through a news release Wednesday she would not leave until after the NCAA tournament.
