The University confirmed in a news release today that former women’s basketball coach Pokey Chatman resigned after allegations of inappropriate conduct.
The press release names assistant coach Carla Berry as the person who first reported that Chatman may have had an inappropriate relationship with a former player.
Berry reported Chatman in mid-February, but Chatman was not notified of the allegations until the conclusion of the Southeastern Conference Tournament, according to the release.
