Exactly one week after Virginia Tech English senior Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 fellow students, faculty and staff, thousands of Hokies returned to the campus.
Those who returned listened in complete silence as a bell tolled once for each of Cho’s 32 victims, the Associated Press reported.
The AP reported that the school also released 33 white balloons and 1,000 maroon and orange – Virginia Tech colors – balloons in honor of the victims.
