The LSU men’s basketball team defeated the No. 3-ranked University of Florida by a score of 66-56 Saturday in the PMAC.
The Tigers (15-13, 4-10) played without junior forward Glen Davis, who is sidelined with an injured quadricep muscle.
LSU held the Gators (25-4, 12-2) to a season low of 56 points. Florida shot only 2-17 from behind the arc, and junior forward Joakim Noah scored just four points.
Sophomore guard Terry Martin scored 18 for the Tigers and sophomore guard Garrett Temple added 17 points and eight rebounds.
