The Louisiana Bureau of Alcohol and Tobacco Control will suspend the license of Chelsea’s Cafe if the owner does not meet certain conditions including changing the zone status.Chelsea’s Cafe owner Dave Remmeter agreed to pay the $2,000 fine for the charge of operating a bar without a license to do so. But Remmeter said his restaurant sales are more than 50 percent for food and less than 50 percent for alcohol, meeting the standards to operate as a restaurant.  He is currently looking into meeting with the Metro Council to receive a bar rezoning. —-Contact Joy Lukachick at [email protected]
