The Student Government Senate will hold its eight weekly meeting tonight in the Atchafalya room of the Student Union.The senate will be voting on a bill written by Sen. Andy Palermo, SG presidential candidate, which would allocate $2,600 for 28 members of the University Veterinary school to attend a symposium at Ohio State University.Though more than 28 students will be going to Ohio, the senate is planning to pay for those students who filled out the proper forms.Because the students will not be presenting at the conference, they cannot receive funds from their college and were forced to look to the Senate Contingency account for revenue.——Contact Adam Duvernay at [email protected]
