The LSU College of Art & Design and the LSU Museum of Art are teaming up with other area organizations to present a discussion about Louisiana architecture and art. “The Institutes’s First Annual Symposium: Architecture and Interior Decoration in the Classical South: Mississippi River Planters and Their Lifestyles,” will be held in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and St. Francisville on April 2 and 3, according to a University news release. Locations include: the Williams Research Center, located in The Historic New Orleans Collection, 410 Chartes Street, the Manship Theater of the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge and the grounds of Rosedown and Wakefield Plantations in St. Francisville. ——Contact Kyle Bove at [email protected]
