The University Sesquicentennial Committee is meeting today at 2 p.m. in 212 Efferson Hall. The committee will discuss the early planning stages of celebrations for the University’s 150th anniversary. Rusty Jabour, co-chair of the committee, said while things at this point are still tentative, early planning is very important to such a big event for the University.The committee will discuss various projects to honor the last 150 years, including work in various media such as the Internet, television and on-campus events. —-Contact Ryan Buxton at [email protected]
