Dewey and Gigi Corley, owners of a 10-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever, visited the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine on March 5 to commemorate their pledge of $100,000. The $100,000 will provide a $5,000 scholarship to a student each year beginning in 2009.
The scholarship endowment was in gratitude of Drs. Steven Everson and Bradley Everson, two SVM graduates, for their work to save their dog — Darby.
