Andrew Schwarz, information systems and decision sciences professor, recently received the Association for Information Systems Technology Legacy Award. Schwarz, vice president of technology for the Association for Information Systems, won the award — also know as the ATLAS award — for his significant contributions toward the intellectual infrastructure of the Association, according to a University news release. ”Andy won that award for his contributions in tying together several parts of the AIS Infrastructure efficiently and effectively,” said AIS President David Avison. “His vision and technical capabilities worked hand-in-hand to provide the association with much better and more accurate web-enabled technology services.”—–Contact Kyle Bove at [email protected]
