Four AgCenter horticulturists released an article saying soil samples must be done properly in order to determine accurate test results.
The results are only as good as the samples, the article said.
Soil samples should be sampled separately from lawn beds and should be between four and six inches.
The AgCenter soil testing lab is located on campus and the cost for testing is $7.
