The University Executive Education group will host their first “Breakfast to Business” event on Tuesday, April 21, at Café Américain at 7:30 a.m.The event’s topic is “The Effects of the National Stimulus Plan: An Economist’s Best Guess.” Robert Newman, chairman of the Department of Economics, is the featured speaker, according to a University news release. Newman will provide his assessment of the federal stimulus plan and its impact locally, regionally and nationally.Café Américain is located at 7521 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge.
