The upcoming Faculty Senate Forum entitled “Vistas of Reorganization” will allow students, faculty, staff and the public to voice their opinions about the proposed restructuring of academic colleges on campus.
Chancellor Michael Martin and Provost Astrid Merget will discuss the possible changes at the Forum, being held on April 14 at 3:05 p.m. in Howe-Russell 130.
Merget sent a broadcast e-mail on March 27, telling students the names, configurations and reporting lines of many academic colleges will change. She said the changes are meant to improve efficiency at the University and are in no way connected to budget cuts expected for next fiscal year.
