The LSU Emergency Operations Center is monitoring the swine flu situation in conjunction with local and state public health officials, according to a University news release.
The United States declared a national public health emergency Sunday as the number of swine flu cases continues to rise.
Students are reminded to visit the LSU Student Health Center if they feel ill, according to the news release. The EOC also recommends students wash their hands often and avoid touching their eyes, nose or mouth, the release states. —-Contact Lindsey Meaux at [email protected]
