The LSU chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs hosted its first annual Keep the Pace 5K Run on Saturday, March 21.
The run, which raised $32,700, benefitted the Charlotte Murray Pace Memorial MBA Scholarship. Pace graduated in the top 10 percent of her class from the University’s Flores MBA Program in 2002. A week later, she was murdered, according to a University news release.
Pace’s classmates and friends asked the scholarship to be established in her honor life and achievements, the release stated.
