Economic concerns in Louisiana are on the rise, according to the 2009 Louisiana survey released Wednesday.
At the Rotary Club in Baton Rouge, Kirby Goidel, director of Public Policy Research Lab, showcased a presentation showing the percentage of Louisianians who say state business conditions are worsening has increased to 52 percent of people.
“Even if Louisiana has not felt the full effect of the economic downturn,” Goidel said. “Residents see the storm on the horizon and are worried about how it will affect the future of the state and the nation.” —-Contact Joy Lukachick at [email protected]
