The LSU softball team beat Auburn, 4-1, behind the power of two-run home runs by freshman right fielder Ashley Langoni and sophomore designated player Casey Faile.
Langoni’s home run came in the fifth inning, and Faile’s came in the seventh inning.
Faile finished the day 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Junior pitcher Cody Trahan picked up the victory in the circle for the Tigers, pitching a complete-game, four-hit performance.
