The plans and design for an on-campus parking garage are being finalized, and construction on the parking garage could be completed by the end of 2010. Current plans call for the garage to be built where Highland Dining Hall, the African American Cultural Center and the Women’s Center currently stand. The garage will be available for students, faculty and visitors and will cost about $24 million. Gary Graham, director of the Office of Parking, Traffic and Transportation, said construction could start by November 2009.—-Contact Brianna Paciorka at [email protected]
