Raided by Alcohol and Tobacco Control agents Jan. 22, Chelsea’s Cafe was ordered to stop charging a cover for live music. The ATC agents said because Chelsea’s is a restaurant, it doesn’t have the right to have cover charges for live music like a bar. Owner David Remmetter said Chelsea’s will continue to have live music, as they have for the past 10 years. He said his restaurant is in no violation. Remmetter will defend his case to ATC Commissioner Murphy Painter on March 11. —-Contact Kyle Bove at [email protected]
