The Faculty Technology Center is hosting a presentation on student response clickers and their use in the classroom this afternoon.The presentation, given by chemistry professor Saundra McGuire and biological science professor Steve Pomarico, will focus on the most efficient ways to use the technology to encourage full student participation in the class.”You can use [clickers] in a number of different ways: to introduce a topic, or to figure out how much students know about a topic before you teach about it,” Pomarico said.The presentation will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Faculty Technology Center in 109 Middleton.
