The LSU men’s tennis team qualified a singles player and a doubles tandem for the quarterfinals at the ITA Southern Regionals in New Orleans, La.
LSU junior Sebastian Carlsson defeated No. 10 Saketh Myneni from Alabama in singles. Sophomore Neal Skupski and freshman Stefan Szacinski advanced in doubles to Saturday’s quarterfinals.
Senior Nicole Kantor and sophomore Whitney Wolf had solid outings for the Lady Tigers at the ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn, Ala.
Kantor and Wolf won their first two rounds as doubles partners, and each won their singles match.
Freshman Kaitlin Burns won her singles match as well. Doubles and singles play resumes Saturday.
