Neither team could muster an overtime goal as the match between the No. 15 LSU Tigers (9-3-2, 5-1-0) and the No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels (9-3-1, 3-1-1) ended in a 0-0 tie at the LSU Soccer Complex.
Both teams had chances throughout the cold, windy night, including an overtime shot by senior midfielder Malorie Rutledge which hit the crossbar. But each opportunity failed to produce a goal.
The Rebels got their first shot on goal of the game with 10 seconds remaining in the second overtime period. The Tigers had five shots on goal.
Senior forward Rachel Yepez was questionable going into the game with an ankle injury and did not play.
LSU returns to the field on Sunday at 1 p.m. against Mississippi State.
