Redemptorist High School running back Jeremy Hill and offensive lineman La’el Collins have committed to LSU, according to Scout.com
The juniors are the first two recruits to give their word to LSU coach Les Miles for the 2011 recruiting class.
Hill, a 6-foot-1-inch, 215-pound tailback, rushed for 1,048 yards and 13 touchdowns his sophomore season. The Baton Rouge native also considered Colorado, Florida State, Nebraska, Tennessee and Houston.
Collins, a 6-foot-4-inch, 275-pound tackle, picked the Tigers after receiving offers from schools including Florida State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and South Florida.
