The University’s High Performance Computing introduced Philip, a supercomputing cluster, during the week of Sept. 13, according to a news release from the Center for Computation & Technology. The cluster will afford the faculty and staff new research opportunities.
Philip is named for Philip West, former chemistry professor and one of the University’s first Boyd Professors.
