The Department of State Civil Service recently OK’d the University’s plan to withhold merit increases for the 2009-10 fiscal year that starts July 1.
University faculty and staff received an e-mail confirming the approval today.
Last week, LSU System President John Lombardi announced the cut in merit-based pay raises for all System employees for 2009-10 because of pending budget cuts.—-Contact Kyle Bove at [email protected]
