Last Month, tornadoes struck southern Louisiana causing a great deal of damage. Governor Edwards recently requested for public assistance from FEMA. Some parishes were denied the public assistance though because the damage was not severe enough to have the need for aid from FEMA.
The parishes that were denied the aid are St. Tammany, St.James, and Ascension. We asked a few LSU students their opinions on the matter.
