The LSU softball team defeated the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday to complete a weekend sweep.
The Bulldogs came into this series as the top hitting team in the nation, but that didn’t stop Tigers pitcher Sydney Smith from shutting the Bulldogs out and holding them to only two hits on Sunday.
“I think everybody had confidence in each other,” Smith said. “It was just one of those games where we needed the defense and we had it.”
