With LSU’s 197.875-195.300 win over New Hampshire Friday, LSU’s seniors accomplished something not previously seen in Baton Rouge. They finished their careers unbeaten in the PMAC.
Sydney Ewing, Ashleigh Gnat and Shae Zamardi completed their four years with a record of 28-0 at home.
LSU gymnastics Head Coach D-D Breaux looks back on her past four years coaching her seniors with pride.
“What a group of seniors,” Breaux said. “They throw these statistics out, and at the end, they said that this senior class had won 28 competitions here in the PMAC.”
“They’re undefeated since their freshman year. Who does that? That’s just amazing.”
“And, that’s not a patsy schedule. That’s a schedule in the SEC. To run the table like that just bodes well for the commitment that this group of young ladies made from their freshman year until now.”
