Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams just made LSU history.
With the Jacksonville Jaguars selecting Fournette with the fourth pick and the New York Jets taking Adams with the sixth pick, they became the first LSU players taken in the top 10 since 2007.
The last two LSU players to do that was former quarterback JaMarcus Russell, who was taken No. 1 by the Oakland Raiders and LaRon Landry who was taken No. 6 by the Washington Redskins.
Adams also became the eighth father-son duo in NFL history.
His father, George was a former NFL running back for the New York Giants.
Former cornerback Tre’Davious White was the last LSU player selected in the first round, as he was picked by the Buffalo Bills with the 27th pick in the draft.
This marks the second-most first rounders LSU has had in its program history.
