Five-star power forward Naz Reid announced his decision to commit to LSU on Tuesday via Twitter.
Reid — a Roselle, New Jersey, native — is considered a top 20 player in the class of 2018 by both 247sports.com and ESPN. Reid joins fellow top recruit Javonte Smart as LSU’s sole commits in the class of 2018.
The 6-foot-10, 240 pound, Reid was on campus over the weekend along with Smart for LSU’s football game against Chattanooga.
Reid chose LSU over Arizona, and held offers from Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and UCLA
