Before the season LSU’s junior running back Derrius Guice was thought to be a favorite for the Heisman Trophy.
Guice has struggled to breakthrough in LSU’s first three games. The junior’s longest run on the season was 25 yards against Mississippi State. He finished the game against the Bulldogs with 76 yards on 15 carries.
