The LSU Tigers defeated Texas Women’s University by a final score of 197.475 to 192.625 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Over 11,000 fans came out Friday night to watch the Tigers win their 23rd consecutive home meet, the forth-largest crowd in the history of the program.
Sophomore Sarah Finnegan won her first all-around title in her collegiate career, leading the way with a score of 9.925 on the bars.
Friday night was also the collegiate debut of British Olympian Ruby Harrold. She opened on bars with a score of 9.875.
The Tigers next meet is on Friday January 27th at Kentucky. The Tigers next home meet is on Friday February 3rd against Missouri.
