How will you change the daily life of students in your college if elected?I plan to help students have a better experience while being in UCAC by aiding them in the process of applying to their senior colleges. I have many goals for the college, but a few of the main ones include improving the appointment process, having college specific advisors, and offering tutoring to anyone who expresses a need for it in the college.
2. What is the most important issue facing students on campus?Currently, I feel the most important issue facing students on campus isbudget cuts.
3. Where do you see the University in five years?In five years, I see LSU hopefully overcoming budget cuts, and maintaining it’s high status of being a top tier school. I also see the university excelling not only academically, but also in athletics, and other activities on campus. These are qualities I believe set LSU apart from other schools.
4. What will you change from the past administration?A change I hope to implement in student government would be putting the students wants and needs before the needs of the administration. I feel like students have been neglected in the past, and it is time for their voices to be heard in students government. It is time to put students first.
5. Why are you qualified for the position you’re running for?I feel like I am qualified to run for my position, because of my leadership roles in organizations I have participated in. Although, I have no prior experience in Student Government, I believe that my past leadership involvement will allow me to do a great job in serving my peers.
