The LSU Performing Arts Series Presents Philip Glass in concert tonight at 8 p.m. at the Claude L. Shaver Theatre.  The renowned pianist and composer, who has collaborated with Allen Ginsberg, Woody Allen and David Bowie, will perform his piano works.The minimalist composer is known for his repetitive structures and has performed around the world.  He has written twenty operas, eight symphonies, two piano concertos, and film soundtracks including “The Hours” (2002) and is one of the most famous modern composers alive today.Tickets are $25 and can be bought at the door.—-Contact Elizabeth Clausen at [email protected]
