Softball: Fico named SEC Pitcher of the Week – 12:47 p.m.

LSU freshman pitcher Rachele Fico was named the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Fico notched two wins and a save during a 4-0 stretch for the No. 15 LSU softball team (32-9). The freshman from Oxford, Conn., threw 12.1 innings of shutout relief while striking out 14 during a three-game sweep of Arkansas this past weekend.
