The Student Health Center is extending the availablity of flu shots from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today.
The shot includes protection from the seasonal flu and the H1N1 strain.
This could be the last opportunity to receive the inoculations on campus, according to a broadcast e-mail sent Monday.
For the first time, the vaccines will be free for full-time students who have paid the Student Health Fee. They cost $10 for part-time students and $20 for faculty, staff, retirees and non-student spouses.
Julie Hupperich, associate director of finance and administrative services at the Health Center, said the Health Center had 2,600 flu shots to administer when the shots were first offered two weeks ago.
Hupperich said the amount of shots ordered each year is based on the amount needed the previous year.
Flu shots offered today until 3:30 p.m.
