The Faculty Senate is collecting questions from the University community to discuss during a Forum with the Chancellor on Sept. 28.
“A special community-wide panel composed of at least two faculty members, one administrator, one staff member, and one student will receive the questions, sort them, and present as many to the Chancellor as time will allow,” Faculty Senate President Kevin Cope said in a broadcast e-mail. “Additionally, twenty minutes will be reserved for spontaneous questions from the floor.”
Cope said this format allows for the “widest participation” and for “the most probing questions” to be answered and comes as a response to “the widespread call for community discussion of the budget cuts.”
Cope said those submitting questions will not be identified. The form will be held Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m. in the Shaver Theater of the Music and Dramatic Arts building.
Questions should be submitted to [email protected].
