The Universities Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been recognized as a KPMG Gold Chapter for the second year.
 
Gold Chapter is given to chapters of BAP that go beyond what is expected.
 
It is the highest award level a chapter can receive, according to a press release by University Relations. A very limited number of chapters are awarded annually.
 
“The award is given to chapters which continually demonstrate and exemplify the highest values of Beta Alpha Psi: leadership, scholastic success, lifelong learning and development, service, and ethical behavior,” according to the press release.
 
The Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has worked with the University and Greater Baton Rouge business communities since its initiation in 1939.
