Former LSU Chancellor and NASA chief Sean O’Keefe has been moved from an Alaska hospital to a hospital in Washington, D.C., according to a report by WAFB.
LSU System spokesman Charles Zewe could not confirm the report to The Daily Reveille.
O’Keefe was badly injured in a plane crash Aug. 9 that killed former U.S. Sen Ted Stevens.
O’Keefe’s son, Kevin, has already been released from the hospital.
Sean O’Keefe was Chancellor from 2005 to 2008 before resigning.
