LSUPD arrested a man Wednesday night in connection with an armed robbery that took place Monday on South Quad Drive.
LSUPD sent out an email Wednesday afternoon asking for help identifying the suspect.
Darrian Jones, 24, was arrested on one count of armed robbery and two counts of simple battery. Jones is not an LSU student.
LSUPD released a statement thanking the community for their assistance. The suspect was apprehended only a few hours after the flyer was issued, according to LSUPD.
LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard would like to remind everyone that it is important that any suspicious behavior be reported to LSUPD immediately. Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity should call LSUPD, 911 or use the Shield App right away.
