LSU football finished the 2018 season ranked No. 6 in the AP Poll after a 10-3 season and a win over previously-undefeated UCF in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.
LSU was the second-highest ranked SEC team behind No. 2 Alabama, and finished just above Georgia and Florida, which tied for seventh.
This is the highest an LSU team has been ranked to finish a season since the 2011 Tigers finished at No. 2.
