Ed Orgeron said in his weekly teleconference that he does not believe Myles Brennan will play on Saturday against Auburn because he has yet to practice while recovering from a torn abdomen.
Freshman quarterback TJ Finley will start in his place. Finley was impressive in his debut against South Carolina, when he completed 17 of 21 attempts for 265 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Orgeron has said that Brennan will keep the starting job whenever he returns from injury. He has also said that the injury does not require surgery, which means that Brennan will have to manage the pain while he waits for it to heal.
