LSU head basketball coach Will Wade is accused by the NCAA of telling a third-party that he would pay for a recruit to attend LSU.
According to an article on SI.com, Wade told player liaison Christian Dawkins that he would “get what [Dawkins] need[s]” in order to recruit players.
Wade was probed by the NCAA on allegations that he was paying players while he was the head coach at Virginia Commonwealth, and continued after he accepted the job at LSU in March 2017.
This is an ongoing investigation. Any new information will be updated.
