A University student was transported to a local hospital Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle on AgCenter Lane, according to LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard.
The collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the 4H Mini Barn. Ballard said the student has “moderate to severe injuries,” and was not in a crosswalk when the collision occurred.
Ballard said the driver of the vehicle was not speeding and was not impaired.
