(AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal is interviewing his highest-ranking officials as he determines how he’ll piece together the second term of his administration.
Most of his more than a dozen cabinet secretaries have said they are seeking to return to their positions, and Jindal hasn’t indicated any intentions for a wholesale shake-up.
The Republican governor won overwhelming re-election two weeks ago to his second four-year stint as Louisiana’s top executive. The new term begins in January.
Commissioner of Administration Paul Rainwater wants to stay in his position, his spokesman said Monday.
