VIDRINE (AP) — Louisiana State Trooper Stephen Hammons says at least 40 people are hunting for an escaped burglar in Evangeline Parish, where witnesses identified him as the robber who held up a bank in Vidrine.
Hammons says officers from three state police troops and the state police air unit and U.S. marshals joined deputies in Tuesday’s search for 42-year-old Brian Keith Soileau, who escaped Oct. 13 from the Pine Prairie Detention Center.
