LSU coach Paul Mainieri will have to wait one more day to face his old team.

Game one of the two game series has been canceled, due to severe weather in the area. Play was delayed until 6:15 p.m. local time, but was called off continuous rain.

Notre Dame and LSU were originally scheduled to play at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, but now the two teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday, with game one set for 2:05 p.m. central time.

Both games will only be seven-innings, and the weather should be a little clearer. 

The two games will be streamed on ESPN3 and on WatchESPN.
