After finishing as champions of the UCF Classic on Saturday, the Tigers had their three game win streak snapped after being swept by Baylor Wednesday in the PMAC.
The Bears took control right from the get go with 16 kills and just two errors in the first set.
In the second came back even stronger flying out to a 12-2 lead early in the set and never looked back.
In the deciding set, LSU led 24-23 at one point trying to force a fourth set but couldn’t close it out after a Baylor kill and two Tiger Errors.

“I don’t know who this team is. This is not the same team that played in Orlando last weekend,” said head coach Fran Flory. “Overall a sub par performance.”
“We are a really up and down tear right now. We have to not take off plays, and I think that is a lot of our problem,” said sophomore outside hitter Sydney Mukes.
Another topic of concern for the Tigers was the lack of leadership from the upperclassmen.
“You can’t rely on freshman to carry the load certainly not through this part of the season,” said Flory. “They’re adjusting to school, to being away from home…I really thought our upperclassmen would kind of push through and show some maturity and that didn’t happen.”
LSU will be back in action Sunday when they take on #13 Florida State before they start SEC play on Sept. 23 versus Auburn.
